About Wendell
I’m an independent insurance broker based in Carolina Beach, North Carolina, serving clients throughout North Carolina and South Carolina. My primary focus is Medicare, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and prescription drug plans. I also help individuals and families with other health insurance needs, as well as life and supplemental insurance options. My goal is to make the process easier to understand and help clients compare their options so they can make informed decisions. Consultations are available by phone or virtually, and there is no cost for my assistance.

Tell us a little about your family.
I’m married and have a son, and family is a very important part of my life. I value the time we spend together and try to keep family at the center of everything I do.
What do you enjoy most about helping people with Medicare?
What I enjoy most is being able to take my time with someone, listen to what they need, and make Medicare feel less complicated. I like breaking things down into plain language and giving people the time and information they need to feel comfortable with their decision.
What makes you most proud in your career?
What makes me most proud is having had the opportunity to serve my country and my community throughout my career. I spent many years in public service, including military service and later as a federal agent, and I’m proud of the responsibility, trust, and sense of service that came with that work.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Shallotte, North Carolina, and also lived in Wilmington before joining the Army. This area has always felt like home to me, and I’m glad to be back serving people in the community I know so well.
Why did you become a Medicare agent?
After a long career in public service, I wanted to continue doing work where I could help people solve real problems. Medicare can be confusing, and I enjoy helping people understand their options and make decisions they feel comfortable with.
