Reviews work because they’re honest. Here’s what we publish, what we don’t, and how to tell us when something looks off.
What we publish
- Reviews from people who actually worked with a broker.
- Honest opinions — positive, negative, or somewhere in between.
- Specific feedback about communication, plan recommendations, follow-through, and overall experience.
- Updates: a reviewer can edit their review once a year (or any time via their manage link).
What we don’t publish
- Hate or harassment — slurs, threats, attacks on protected characteristics.
- Personal information — phone numbers, email addresses, SSNs, full home addresses, or other people’s full names.
- Spam or promotional content — links to other services, fake reviews, paid placements.
- Defamation — false statements of fact presented as truth.
- Off-topic — content unrelated to your experience working with the broker.
- Sexual or graphic content — keeps the site safe for everyone.
How moderation works
Every submitted review and every broker response runs through an automated check using OpenAI’s Moderation API. Anything questionable goes to a human moderator, usually within 24 hours. We approve, redact personal info only, or reject — we never rewrite the substance of a review.
For the long version, see our Moderation Transparency page.
How to flag a review
On any published review, click the small “Flag” link. Pick the reason that fits best — inaccurate, not a real client, spam, offensive, contains personal information, or other — and add details if it helps. Three independent flags automatically pull a review back into moderation while we take a closer look.
How disputes are handled
Brokers can formally dispute a review they believe is inaccurate, defamatory, or from someone they never worked with. From their dashboard they file a dispute with their explanation, evidence (if any), and a desired outcome (remove, redact a specific claim, or request the reviewer update). A human admin reviews every dispute and either upholds it (review removed, redacted, or update requested) or dismisses it. The reviewer is notified when their review is affected by a dispute.
Takedown requests
For legal takedown requests (DMCA, court-ordered, or removal of personal information beyond what’s already redacted), email us with documentation:
