About Samuel

Since becoming licensed in early 2020, I’ve helped individuals, families, and small business owners understand their insurance options and choose coverage that fits their needs and budget. My commitment to this work is personal. Growing up, I watched my family manage ongoing medical care while navigating prior authorizations, specialist networks, and changes in prescription drug coverage. I saw firsthand how overwhelming health insurance could feel when a loved one needed care. That became especially clear when my grandmother’s insurance plan changed, and the doctors at her skilled nursing facility did not accept her new coverage. Through numerous phone calls and time spent learning to navigate Medicare.gov, I helped her understand what had happened. That experience inspired me to become an insurance agent. I wanted other families to have someone they could turn to for patient, knowledgeable guidance. Today, I help clients understand and compare Medicare and Part D prescription drug plans, ACA Marketplace health plans for individuals and families under 65, small business group health insurance, and ICHRA/CHOICE options for employers. My experience also includes supplemental indemnity coverage, dental, vision, hearing, and travel medical insurance. My approach starts with listening. I take time to understand your doctors, prescriptions, budget, and priorities, then explain your options in plain language. If your current coverage continues to meet your needs, I’ll tell you. Every recommendation begins with understanding how a policy could help you and your loved ones. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and son. Building hamster mazes, taking my son for neighborhood bike rides in his trailer, and building forts together are some of my favorite parts of the day. If you’re looking for Medicare or health insurance guidance in Tucson, I’d welcome the opportunity to answer your questions & help you understand your next steps.

Questions Samuel gets asked

What do you enjoy most about helping people with Medicare?

I love being able to bring peace of mind to those looking for help. My favorite part is when someone calls me months, or even years after they enroll because they have a question, or perhaps looking for clarity on something. This tells me that I have earned their trust, and they remember me as someone who will always be there for them when they call.

What hobby or pastime do you enjoy most?

I like to spend my freetime outdoors, whenever possible. I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, picking wild berries with my family on Mt.Lemmon, teaching my kid to swim, and building little "play-forts" with my family.

What makes you most proud in your career?

Knowing I have done right, every time without taking any shortcuts.

What's the best piece of advice an elder in your family gave you?

"Life doesn't necessarily get easier, Life just changes over time."
