About Liz

I’m a self-professed “Medicare Nerd” and wear the moniker as a badge of honor. Hi, my name is Liz McPherson and I own the Medicare Resource Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Growing up in Colorado Springs, I’m a proud graduate of Wasson High School, class of ’82. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Slippery Rock University (Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania) and an MBA from the University of Phoenix with an emphasis on Health Care Management. I’ve lived in Woodland Park, Colorado since 2001 with my four dogs, 3 cats and a Leopard Appaloosa horse. I have two grown children and two grandchildren. When I’m not working you can find me riding my horse in the Pike National Forest, spoiling my pets or traveling.
