About Julie

I help individuals on Medicare make sense of their coverage—without the stress and confusion. Most people don’t think about Medicare until they’re turning 65, preparing to retire, or facing a change in their healthcare needs. Unfortunately, that’s often when they discover just how complicated Medicare can be—and how choosing the wrong coverage can lead to unexpected costs or gaps in care. My role is to simplify the process. I take the time to explain your Medicare options, review your doctors and prescriptions, and help you find coverage that fits your healthcare needs, budget, and lifestyle. I am also one of only 45 agents in Florida who holds the Certified Medicare Insurance Planner (CMIP®) designation, reflecting my commitment to advanced Medicare education and helping clients navigate their options with greater knowledge and confidence. Whether you’re new to Medicare, approaching retirement, or simply want to make sure your current plan still meets your needs, I offer complimentary consultations focused on education—not sales pressure. My goal is simple: to help you understand your options, avoid costly surprises, and feel confident in the Medicare decisions you make.

Questions Julie gets asked

Tell us a little about your family.

I live with my partner, Tony, and I have one son, Zac, who is an Army veteran and someone I am incredibly proud of. We also have two dogs, Piper and Sky, who are definitely part of the family. Family is very important to me, and I truly value the time we get to spend together.

What do you enjoy most about helping people with Medicare?

What I enjoy most is seeing the relief people feel when Medicare finally makes sense. I love taking something that feels overwhelming, making it easier to understand, and helping my clients feel confident in their decisions. Knowing I’ve helped someone make an informed choice and avoid a costly mistake is incredibly rewarding.

What's a favorite childhood memory?

Some of my favorite childhood memories are of traveling with my family during the holidays. I was very lucky because my dad loved finding unique places to go and fun things for us to experience. We usually traveled with my dad’s brother and his family, which made those trips even more special. My dad had a way of finding the coolest places. We stayed at the very first Holidome, and we were even at Wet ’n Wild in Orlando on opening day. Looking back, it wasn’t necessarily one particular destination that made those trips so memorable—it was the adventure, the time spent together as a family, and never quite knowing what fun experience my dad had planned for us next.

What's your favorite season of the year and why?

Fall has always been my favorite season. Growing up in Michigan, I loved watching the leaves change colors and seeing how beautiful everything became. There was just something special about the crisp air, the changing leaves, and knowing the holidays were right around the corner. I also love everything that comes with that time of year, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. For me, fall has always been connected to family, traditions, and some of my favorite memories. Now that I live in Florida, I may not get to experience the beautiful fall colors like I did growing up in Michigan, but it is still—and probably always will be—my favorite time of year.

Why did you become a Medicare agent?

I became a Medicare agent because I saw how confusing Medicare can be and how often people were choosing plans without truly understanding their coverage. I wanted to change that. I don’t look at what I do as selling insurance. I educate my clients, explain their options, and help them make informed decisions so they feel confident in the coverage they choose.
