I'm an independent Health Insurance Broker / Covered California Insurance Agent. I help people to choose between a Medicare Supplement ("Medigap") Plan, vs a Medicare Advantage HMO or PPO. And I help individuals under age 65 to purchase Health & Dental insurance both through Covered California (which is the "Obamacare" Affordable Care Act marketplace) and directly with companies such as Blue Shield of California, Health Net, Anthem Blue Cross, and Kaiser. Unlike many brokers in other states, I do not push Limited Benefit hospital indemnity or Final Expense or MediShare or engage in upselling/pushy tactics. (Some of these types of plans are highly-compensated but may be of little actual value). My agency represents Blue Shield, SCAN, The UCLA Health Medicare Advantage Plan (UHMAP), United Healthcare, LA Care, Health Net, Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, Humana, Delta Dental, Ameritas, Cigna, HealthSpring, and many more. Most of our clients are in West Los Angeles and Pasadena, but we help clients throughout the state of California and Texas.
