What do you enjoy most about helping people with Medicare?
What I enjoy most is seeing the relief people feel when Medicare finally makes sense to them. I love taking something that can feel confusing and overwhelming and breaking it down in a way that helps someone feel confident about their decisions. But even more than that, I enjoy the relationships I build with my clients. I want them to know they have someone they can call—not just when it’s time to choose a plan, but whenever they have a question or need guidance along the way.
What hobby or pastime do you enjoy most?
Quilting is probably the pastime I enjoy most. I love being creative and taking different fabrics, colors, and patterns and turning them into something completely unique. I especially enjoy that every quilt has a story behind it and doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful. Many of the quilts I make are for people I love, which makes the time and thought that goes into creating them even more meaningful.
What makes you most proud in your career?
What makes me most proud is knowing that I’ve built a career where people trust me to help them with some of the most important decisions in their lives. I’m proud that my clients know they are more than a policy or a number to me. Building Sigman Family Agency around education, relationships, and doing what is right for the person sitting in front of me has been incredibly rewarding. When a client refers a family member or friend to me because they trust that I’ll take care of them, that is probably one of the greatest compliments I can receive.
What's your favorite season of the year and why?
My favorite season is fall. I love the cooler weather, the changing colors, and that feeling of slowing down and enjoying home a little more. It’s the perfect season for cooking something comforting, working on a quilt, spending time outside, and gathering with family. There’s just something about fall that feels warm, peaceful, and familiar to me.
Why did you become a Medicare agent?
I became a Medicare broker because I saw firsthand how overwhelming insurance and healthcare decisions can be for families—especially when they don’t have someone they trust to guide them. I wanted to build a career where I could educate people, simplify the confusing parts, and help them make decisions based on what is truly right for them. For me, it has never been about simply enrolling someone in a plan; it’s about building relationships, being there when questions come up, and making sure my clients never feel like they have to navigate Medicare alone.
