Do you have any pets? What are their names?
When my hubby & I moved back to the US after living in Playa del Carmen Mexico for 10 years, we had seven rescue cats and four rescue dogs. We lost most of them over the years to age. We're now down to one rescue dog, our English bulldog Lily, and four of the Mexican street cats: Sookie, Smoky, Scooter & Kitten. 💙
What do you enjoy most about helping people with Medicare?
Making a big difference in their lives!
What makes you most proud in your career?
When my clients refer me to their friends after I've helped them.
What's the most adventurous thing you've ever done?
Bought a one-way ticket to California (from PA) right after high school, not knowing what the future had in store. That was the first. The second was buying a beat-up little youth hostel in Mexico with my husband and then moving there to run it - with absolutely no experience in the hospitality business and nothing but high school and college Spanish!
Why did you become a Medicare agent?
I was looking for something to be passionate about, and nothing was resonating. Then some of my uber smart friends started turning 65, and I remembered when my husband went onto Medicare, and how little we knew. The lightbulb went on, and I was off. I wish I had started this career much earlier in life!
