As a retired public servant and current Medicare professional, I enjoy helping people navigate Medicare. Have you ever met a famous person? Who?
I have met many. As an ex world series player for the S.F. Giants and having played in the 1989 world series, I have met many celebrities. I really enjoyed hanging out with Willie Mays who frequented our clubhouse.
What do you enjoy most about helping people with Medicare?
Knowing that we provided relief from the stress they experienced when trying to figure out the rules and plans that are out there. Our goal and mission statement is to provide the best possible knowledge in a very easy-to-understand format so that the client can make an informed and confident decision. One that relieves the stress.
What makes you most proud in your career?
Helping people find the right plan in a relaxed environment
What's the most memorable concert or event you've been to?
The 1989 World Series in the bay area.
Why did you become a Medicare agent?
To continue to help people after my fire department career. It allowed me to help people that truly don't understand Medicare or what plan to choose. After having a very physical career in fire fighting and pro baseball, Medicare allowed me to not be physical anymore. And I could still help people.
